The Great Ice Cream Tour (1-5pm)

With a mini heatwave forecast this weekend. Bowland & Bay is putting on a special event “The Great Ice Cream Tour”.

I have spent over 30 years buying ice cream and tasted ice cream across the UK as the ice cream developer for the National Trust. Join me as I showcase the best ice cream & gelato farms in Lancashire. Plus some  magnificent milk products that make Lancashire delicious from cheese, chocolates and milkshakes.

This special half day tour will run Saturday afternoon from 1-5pm, included in the tour:

• Organic gelato and milkshakes, with the best view in Lancashire.
• Lancashire raw cheese tasting and visit the famous cheese room.
• Goat ice cream with over a 1000 goats.
• Dairy ice cream and handmade chocolates on the farm.
• Garstang’s Fairtrade chocolate story.

Alongside the tour I’ll be sharing all my parlour secrets and the background to our British love of ice cream from penny licks to nitro ices.

Tour leaves from Garstang this Saturday. Recommend for ice cream lovers ages 7+.
