Autumn Award Season
Yesterday morning Emma Mayoh, Food Reporter for Lancashire Life Magazine, popped by the barn with a rather special box. Being Friday I was heating up a butter pie and prepping for a Fantastic Feast Tour.
Minutes later, this was the pic. As you can see from my beaming grin, I was just a little over excited at the news that I’d won the Food Hero award for 2023. We shared the butter pie to celebrate.
Emma interviewed me before Bowland & Bay was officially on the road, back in May 2021 (before I had my logos on the van). Lancashire Life Magazine has been alongside me from the very start. I am hugely grateful for their support and the superb artisans who make my foodie adventures so unique.
Most of all thankyou to my incredible guests. In this last week alone I have had 36 guests, aged from 18 to 94, from Clitheroe to Tokyo. At times we drove through torrential rain to seek out new taste sensations across Lancashire & Cumbria. Their smiles say it all. All weather adventures in food for all seasons.

Festive Tours
Looking for a unique festive adventure for friends, family or workmates. Bowland & Bay are running festive tours from November through to 16th December. I can take up to 8 guests in my van and up to 15 guests for corporate/large parties. For those working hard throughout the festive period, why not book in New Year Foodie day out for January.
There are still spaces in October for Lancashire and Cumbria tours and my new Chocolate, Coffee & Tea tour. I am also working on something very special for early 2024, the power of real food needs to be eaten to be believed.
