Welcome to Lancashire Day foodie folks travelling to the heart of the Ribble Valley, the Forest of Bowland and the Wyre coastal plains. Tour will start from Fairtrade Garstang

Katie will be your guide to 100+ years of food and drink tales from across the region. We’ll be remembering the Accrington Pals of the Great War, the homeland defence of WWII, the great working class food from across the Lancashire Palatine.

  • 7 food & drinks stops, from the best Lancashire artisans.
  • Each guest will receive a Royal British Legion Poppy appeal bag/knapsack (for provisions)
  • Katie will be bringing to life tales from her Great Uncle Robert Roberts, the famous working class historian.  On growing up in urban Salford. Discover the food & drink of 1918, how chip shops began, Chorley cakes v Eccles cakes, heart warming “Bene ‘n’ hot”.
  • We’ll discover the revolution in Lancashire food in the last century to present day, through all the senses; thanks to generations of farmers & entrepreneurial artisans.

These unique tours are suitable for ages 18+ to 108, feel free to wear vintage attire, bring your family history pics and guests from across the world. The red rose county awaits.
