Porto Foodie Adventure 2026 - 3 nights October

My fellow foodies have been asking for another European foodie adventure and delighted to be adding Porto for 2026. If you would like to register interest  – the £100 deposit is fully refundable, until full tour & final dates confirmed. Please do not book flights until place confirmed, Katie will send full details prior to booking.

Tour details TBC closer in – please note prices will be around £950PP based on 2 people sharing a room. Due to the variety of the tour locations it is not possible at the moment to adapt tours to different dietary requirements. Please message Katie hello@bowlandandbay.co.uk for more information.

Food Tours of Porto will be hosted by Katie, award winning Bowland & Bay food guide, alongside local guides.

Included in the Porto Foodie Adventure:

• 3 nights premium accommodation in Porto
• Port House Tour & tasting on the banks of Douro river.
• Market & downtown Food Tour with local guide.
• Artisan sardine factory: tour, tasting & take home tin.
• 3 exciting restaurants/market for dinner (drinks paid by guests).
• Trip to the famous fish market, freshest catch, cooked over charcoal.

Options (paid by guests):

• Own time to explore e.g. boat trip on the Douro, Baroque churches, famous book shop.
• On the second night, after the food tour ,we will be going out for a light dinner. There is an option to choose your own dinner destination  in the city and Katie is available to recommend/book some of the cosiest restaurants.
