Team Away Day - Food Tour Clitheroe

Welcome N-Compass for your summer team away day for 17.

Bowland & Bay is delighted to organise a foodie adventure in the historic market town of Clitheroe, nestled in the stunning Ribble Valley.

Tour will begin at 11:00 AM and finish around 3:30PM. There is a train station at Clitheroe and parking is available at Railway View Car Park BB7 2EP. We will meet outside the Platform Gallery & Visitors Centre by the station BB7 2JT.

Our tour will include a Google Map Guide of the food locations for each guest  – we will be exploring:

• The weekly Market
• Local roasted coffee/teas
• Fresh bakes
• Lancashire cheese tasting (& olives) , with Mr Fitzpatrick traditional cordials
• Famous sausage shop
• Savoury stop  at one of the Victorian mills/chapels
• Farm made ice cream by the Castle.

Local guide Katie will tell you tales from Pendle Hill’s Quakers & Witches. Along with 2000 years of invaders from Romans, Vikings to Normans to Take That Film Crews.

Please be aware this is walking tour so bring comfortable shoes and appropriate coats for the weather conditions. We will cover around a mile of walking, with a gentle incline. Please note we will be crossing roads, so be aware of traffic and pedestrians.
